NTU students who are not majoring in Physics or Applied Physics are eligible to minor in Physics or in Applied Physics. The minor programme introduces students to the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics, and a selection of topics such as condensed-matter physics, fluid mechanics, optics, etc. The minor requires a minimum of 15 AUs of Physics and Applied Physics courses, selected from the following tables.
Please note that courses used to satisfy minor requirements must be taken on a letter grade basis (i.e., the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory option cannot be exercised). Students planning to minor in Physics or Applied Physics should file a minor application form before embarking on the programme of study.
