Senior Research Project Leader, Research Project
Leader and PhD students
CDPT has established 5 years long research programmes funded by the
National Research Foundation and the Ministry of Education of Singapore. This new research programme aims at exploring the growth of high quality
thin films based on superconducting and topological materials, characterization
of structural and optoelectronic properties and fabrication of quantum devices
such as superconducting nanowire single photon detectors (SNSPD) and
topological transport devices.
We are seeking highly motivated candidates with keen interest in the
growth of novel materials for optics, to be the leading research fellows in
charge of a state of the art growth facility at CDPT. The candidates should
have a PhD in Physics, Optical Engineering, Material Science, or closely-related
disciplines.
The project will be carried on in the group of Associate Professor Cesare
Soci at the main campus of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
The Senior Research Project Leader and Project Leader positions are
available from early 2021 for 1 years with possible extension. The position
will remain open until it is fulfilled. Competitive salary will be depending on
experience. The PhD scholarships are available for the August 2021 intake of
NTU.
