Singapore-Japan workshop on Nanophotonics, Plasmonics and Metamaterials which was held in NTU in December 2014 hosted delegations from Japan and Taiwan to foster common research projects between the three counties.

NTU lights up photonics research with S$100 million institute. The Photonics Institute opening ceremony was held at NTU on 30th October 2014.

CDPT brought to Singapore META’14 conference which was a huge success attracting about 700 participants thus becoming the biggest nanophotonics conference.

NTU - Technion workshop on Photonics and Nanophotonics which was held in NTU in May 2014 revealed a deep affinity of research interests between the photonics communities of the two institutions.
