Novel materials for nanophotonics, electron beam nanophotonics, nanoscale plasmonic and metamaterial light sources
Dr. Adamo is the Research Manager at the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies and a Principal Research Fellow at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at NTU. His research interests lie in the fields of nanophotonics, plasmonics, metamaterials and electron beam light sources.
Dr. Adamo received his PhD degree from the Optoelectronics Research Centre at the University of Southampton and MSc degrees in 2005 from the Politecnico di Milano and KTH, Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm) within the T.I.M.E. Double Degrees program (http://www.time-association.org/). Between 2005 and 2007 he was a researcher for Pirelli Labs in Milan. After his PhD he was EPSRC Doctoral Prize Research Fellow at the Optoelectronics Research Centre before moving to Singapore where he was part of the team that established the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies at NTU.
