Superconducting and Topological Insulator Metamaterials
Dr. Krishnamoorthy obtained his PhD from the City University of New York (CUNY), New York, USA in 2014. His PhD research focused on engineering light-matter interaction using resonant and non-resonant nanophotonic structures. He was awarded the CUNY Provost’s Dissertation Fellowship during this time. In 2015, he joined the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT) at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, as a Project Leader where his research is focused on optical properties of superconductors, topological insulators, organic-inorganic perovskites and metamaterials derived from them. His interests lie in the area of nanophotonic devices based on plasmonic and dielectric metamaterials.
