Quantum plasmonics on the optical fibre platform
Dr. Guo obtained her PhD from the Institute of Optoelectronics Research, Shanxi University, China, in 2001. She was awarded the JSPS fellowship and worked on Frequency and time standard group, National Metrology Institute of Japan from 2001-2003. Subsequently she worked in the Tera-photonics Lab, Research Institute of Physics and Chemistry (RIKEN) for 6 years. She was award the 5th RIKEN Frontier Research System Award (research) in 2007 for her research achievement in high sensitivity THz-wave coherent detection. In 2009, she moved to Singapore and worked to develop a compact THz-wave source and detection for frequency-domain spectroscopy in the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), A*STAR. From 2011 to 2015, she worked on Rydberg lattice group in Center of Quantum Technologies (CQT), NUS. She is currently a project leader at the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT), NTU, focusing on developing quantum plasmonics device on fibre.
