Safety is an integral part of life and work at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS). We have a deep and abiding commitment to ensuring that all research and educational activities are performed in a safe and proper way, as well as being well-prepared for any emergency that may arise. All staff, students, visitors and contractors in SPMS are strictly required to comply with the established safety requirements set by the University and SPMS.
Covid-19 Safe Management Measures – What you need to know!
Each of us has a role to play in being socially responsible to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. SPMS has established safe management measures and it is important that we understand these measures to protect ourselves and the people around us.
Having regular safety communications not only increases our safety awareness, it further helps to sustain learnt knowledge and reinforce good safety practices. As part of continued improvement to our safety culture, SPMS has put in place the “Safety Moment” regime to facilitate our community to practise and deepen our communications on safety and health matters.
